Inactivating/Reactivating Visit Types

Users can inactivate visit types that are not in use by clicking on the inactive icon next to the visit type.

To inactivate the Visit Types:

1.Locate the Visit Type on Scheduler Setup page.
2.Click the inactive icon to inactivate the Visit Type.
3.A pop up message appears to print or move the future appointments getting affected (if any). Select an appropriate option.
To print all the future appointments getting affected, choose an option “Click here to print these appointments”.
To move all the future appointments getting affected to another visit type, select an appropriate visit type from the drop down list.
To retain all the future appointments getting affected in the same visit type, choose an option “Leave appointment in Current Visit Type” from the drop down list.

 

Users can also reactivate Visit Types by clicking on the “Add New Visit Types” link at the top right corner above the Visit Type screen. This will open the Add New Visit Type window. The page contains the list of previously inactivated visit type(s). Users can reactivate visit types by clicking on the clip0660icon next to the visit type.

To reactivate the Visit Types:

1.Click the Add New Visit Types button.
2.The list appears of previously inactivated visit types.
3.Click the clip0661icon next to the visit type you want to activate.
